Dark Simorgh - A New Era of Darkness

As most of you have heard, Dark Simorgh and other OCG-only cards are being released into the TCG through Stardust Overdrive. Dark Simorgh is one of the most sought OCG-only cards ever created, most duelists wish to have at least one copy, many more wish to have multiple copies. This card is simply incredible; it keeps your opponent from setting anything. This effect stops your opponent from putting down any new defense (trap cards included!). Now, if this card weren't enough, we have another card already released in the TCG that complements this very well: Anti-Spell Fragrance. This card forces your opponent to set everything; they can't normal summon or activate a spell card from their hand. Dark Simorgh and Anti-Spell Fragrance create one of the most powerful locks ever created. With those two cards out, your opponent can't play any new cards!

Actually Anti-Spell Fragrance only works on spells, hence the name. So they can still play monsters and that monster may as well be a DAD, a JD, or even a Exiled Force to take down Dark Simorgh therefore losing the main advantage.

would this card be a good card in a Blackwing deck?

You'd have to tech wind monsters, but people have made Simorgh decks using Blackwings.

Perhaps we may be able to utilize Harpie Ladies? They are a Wind Archtype with OK synergy alongside Blackwings.

Have seen Harpie-Blackwing Hybrids and they always run poorly. I say that you just run Blackwings with splashed WINDs such as Winged Sage Falcos.

Perhaps a wind/Dark Deck i mean with Mistvally soldier and Blackwing so you can get simorgh OTK
